IAS/IES Chicago Technical Meeting – Electrical Distribution Test Ports

Dan Hebeisen from Grace Technologies will provide a presentation on Permanent Electrical Safety Devices (PESD’s).
PESD’s are permanently mounted, self-powered devices that are used for Mechanical and Electrical Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. PEDS’s enhance compliance with NFPA 70E and OSHA energy isolation principles, which results in increased safety, productivity, and efficiency. PESD’s allows Qualified Electrical Workers and Task Qualified Persons to perform an Absence of Voltage test during Electrical Lockout/Tagout from outside the electrical equipment enclosure.
