Come and join our first IEEE Computer Society Chicago event of the 2022-2023 year, joint with ACM Chicago. Topic is on Inside Microsoft Research: Internships, Programs and Opportunities.
Our speaker is Phil Rosenfield, a Principal Research Program Manager at Microsoft Research. His talk will give you an inside look at Microsoft Research, the various roles, its current early-in-career programs, and answer your questions.
He will give an overview of Microsoft Research (MSR) from his vantage point, his own path to that role from research intern to Research Program Manager, and share interesting programs and roles that currently exist at MSR.
The talk will highlight the MSR undergraduate research internship, a 12-week summer program, and the Pre-doctoral Research Assistant program which is a one- or two-year program for early career researchers looking to gain experience before entering a PhD program.
